Greensoft Passion Fruit demonstrates emulsifying properties when added in high concentrations, greater than or = 20%. As a co-emulsifier or for emulsion stabilization, the addition of Greater than or = 2% is recommended, depending on the structure of the formulation.
Passion Fruit Oil has a very varied application in the cosmetic industry: creams, shampoos, lotions, oils, soaps and so on. The oil can also be used in human and animal foods, as well as in the paint, soap, food and other industries. Passion fruit oil (Passiflora edulis) has a fatty acid composition formed mainly by linoleic acid (68.8%), oleic acid (18.1%) and palmitic acid (12.1%). The fruit is rich in vitamins A and C and minerals such as calcium, iron and phosphorus. Passion fruit has relaxing substances, passiflorin, in addition to its aroma that reduces anxiety, improves sleep, reducing stress and tiredness in general.
